Earrings cannot be returned for change of mind, for hygiene reasons, and neither can engraved or made to order pieces.
- Keep it dry. Take it off before showering, swimming, bathing, exercise and cleaning.
- Put it on after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
- Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing.
- Store it in its case or a sealed pouch, away from air and moisture, to slow tarnish.
- Natural tarnish on silver can be gently polished away with a silver cloth.
- Moissanite is hard and durable (9.25 on the Mohs scale), but lotions and oils dull its sparkle.
- Clean it gently with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then dry the piece completely straight away.

What does carat mean here?
A carat is a measure of weight, not of size. One metric carat is 200 milligrams, or 0.2 of a gram (GIA).
Moissanite is a lighter material than diamond. The Gemmological Association of Australia notes it weighs approximately 10% less than a diamond of the same size, so a moissanite cut to the size of a one carat diamond weighs about 0.9 of a carat.
That is why the carat sizes we quote are diamond equivalent sizes (DEW). When we say 1 carat, we mean a stone that measures about 6.5mm across the top, the same as a one carat diamond.
We publish the millimetre measurement on every piece, because millimetres are the honest number and they are what you actually see when it is worn.
What each size looks like
Millimetre sizes are approximate and refer to a round brilliant cut. Fancy shapes of the same carat equivalent measure differently across the top.
